Project: Fixed Network Quality of Experience Monitoring 

Objectives and Structure

Support the setup and run of a solution for continuous monitoring of Quality of Experience (QoE). The focus is multimedia service and network performance on selected Vodafone Residential customer lines. The candidate will be part of a team of senior expert on network performance and architecture. The team's mission is to assure the best customer experience, support the design of optimal service architectures and develop of advanced monitoring tools and analytics platforms. The team support Quality, Assurance, Operations and CVM departments in KPI definition and analysis, allowing Trouble Tickets efficient solution and prevention.

 

Activities

  • Support the introduction of a distributed probe system, as a distributed in field lab, to monitor the quality of multimedia services delivered through different types of Vodafone fixed internet access. 
  • The candidate must understand the importance of the various variables involved (access technologies, geographical distance, latency, network impairments, …) by assessing the impact on the customer experience and support the introduction of possible further automatic tests. 
  • The candidate will support the creation of reports for Top Management.

 

Required skills

  • Technical background, Analytical skills, Office suite
  • Italian, English: full professional proficiency
  • Open minded and collaborative, curious and interested in new technologies.
