Role Purpose

This position is about defining pricing, volumes and product placement strategy for both Broadband (Fiber, FWA, Convergence) and Vodafone TV propositions. You will make and analyse market benchmarks to correctly settle product pricing and develop investment evaluation to support managers in evaluating and prioritizing commercial initiatives. You will be responsible for every aspect of products revenues (pricing, volumes, activation mix) and you will oversee products cost structure (trade and opex), having the final goal of maximizing products margin, both on gross adds and customer base. To achieve your objective, you will have to develop a strong and proficient interaction with Product Clusters (Marketing Family and Marketing TV & Content), Growth Tribe and Finance, and collaborate with all business departments involved in product strategy definition, including Sales, Market Research and other Tribe squads. To grant an effective go to market you will have to interact and build a trusted and proficient partnership with all these departments.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

  • Analyses and benchmarks market and direct/indirect competitors Convergent, Broadband, FWA and TV products
  • Reviews opportunities to increase and optimize products margins
  • Harmonizes Convergence, Broadband, FWA and TV pricing strategy with Mobile one
  • Monitors products performance (volumes and ARPU) and analyses delta versus planned
  • Prepares and coordinates monthly operating plans and weekly commercial reviews for Convergence, Broadband, FWA and TV
  • Creates business cases of investment evaluation together with Product Squads
  • Supports managers in evaluating and prioritizing commercial initiatives
  • Establishes marketing pricing and placement strategies, both for GA and CB, considering every aspect of products profit and loss
  • Prepares and coordinates pricing committees and pricing updates.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of Convergence, Broadband, FWA and TV offer and economics
  • Significant experience in product management (preferably Broadband and/or TV/content) or product investment evaluation (eg. decision support analysis/bid management). Alternatively, significant experience in Broadband Finance Planning and Analysis
  • Strong analytical capability with problem solving skills and commercial background
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point
  • Strong communications skills, comfortable interfacing with different audiences of varied levels of seniority
  • Passionate for Marketing placement strategies
  • Willingness to learn and teamwork through agile methodology
