 BI – Service Delivery and Design Manager


Job Overview:
• This person will play a key role in enabling the transformation of BI in Italy to optimise value from data solutions that are consumed across the organisation and achieved with operational effectiveness.
• An expert in driving  commercial value through exploitation of Standard Information & Data Models, Digital Technology, Machine Learning (ML) Analytics and People
• Create and own the BI Brand - you will successfully embed intuitive reporting and dashboards, through a central single delivery portal (the BI front door),  with a recognised look and feel based on best in class UX principles.
• Engage the organisation in a BI Technology Roadmap to leverage NEXT investment; fully secure, self-serve mobile environment and leverage Group BI and Big Data. (Nucleus / Neuron) capability where appropriate.
• Develop and lead a highly effective team with development and delivery skills that will build the products and services to underpin successful execution and adoption of data solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Best in Class Business solution design and excellence in execution within an always available data environment (both warehouse and visualisations tool) enabling fast data manipulation by both BI and the Business Units
• Design and  drive an efficient infrastructure / operating model underpinned by capacity based demand model; including both on & off shore resources that is fully transparent and saleable.
• Provision of operational support process in partnership with IT to ensure 24/7 performance of BI  Reporting Platform (MicroStrategy)  with timely production against SLAs
• Team evolution in line with Nucleus with focus on growing analytical talent and capability
• Ownership of Data Exploitation & Self-Serve Analytics with BU’s and technology innovation for VF Italy

Credentials & Experience:
• At least 5 years experience of a Data / Business Intelligent environment focused on delivering value
• Success in developing and managing highly performing teams with good talent pipeline
• Proven ability of working at senior level in large team / organisation
• Good understanding of Technology and Data & Analytics techniques
• Strong prioritisation skills and ability to deliver with good humour under pressure
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in periods of change and ambiguity
• Extremely organised, meticulous communication skills
