Bid & Contract Manager, Group Enterprise

Enterprise SCM is a centre of excellence for Procurement, commercial and relationship management of 3rd Parties / partners that support or provide ‘Reliable, secure, hassle-free and cost-effective communications services’ to our global enterprise customers.

 

This role will play a pivotal part in the supplier selection and commercial proposition for Customer solutions during the bid phase, and then provide lifecycle management of the Supplier portfolio across a selection of Customers covering all aspects of sourcing approach, external spend, stakeholder management, SCM governance, SCM programme assurance, SCM benefits tracking, contract management & contractual compliance providing a single point of interface between OneSCM and the Enterprise account teams throughout the customer contract term. The role has overall responsibility for aligning business requirements with the central Category strategies driven within the VPC, delivering robust supplier contracts across either the inherited or sourced vendor base supporting the customer solution.

You will

  • Responsible for the sourcing approach across allocated Customer Bids, driving internal stakeholders and account teams to deliver accurate and appropriate business requirements to enable the delivery of sourcing solutions. Stakeholder management responsibilities including representing SCM through governance and potentially externally to Customers
  • Responsible for all vendor cost input into the Enterprise bid & the tracking of associate SCM benefits across the exercise
  • Responsible for in-life management throughout the SCM Enterprise life cycle including transitioning vendors into Vodafone, commercial tracking and control, performance management and final sign off of the acceptance/delivery milestones
  • Responsible for SCM reporting and communications across the Enterprise portfolio managed.

 

You must have

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong commercial background
  • Strong contractual skills
  • High level negotiation skills
  • MBA preferred
  • Some experience of Operational SCM or Graduate level entrant
  • Strong insight into the telecoms industry, both from a commercial and technical perspective
  • Strong stakeholder influencing capabilities in a customer focussed environment
  • Knowledge of procurement across complex IT systems, Managed Service provision and vendor management
  • Strong programme / time management and governance skills demonstrated over complex and multi-country programmes
