The Data Modeler role has a key focus to ensure that all data model needs are met – enabling key stakeholders to understand the model, owning resolution of new requirements and proactively anticipating future challenges to mitigate risks. The individual will take a lead role in the development and maintenance of end to end data design for different high scale data platforms which includes the information areas, end to end data flows, conceptual, logical and physical data models for the information areas.


The Data Modeler will work closely with the _VOIS Data CoE Corporate IT Systems Big Data team to define and maintain the standards and quality criteria for the data models and will have accountability for the compliance against data privacy, information security and GDPR policies.


This role will serve as the single point of contact for any _VOIS Data Ocean needs and will play a key role to enable scaled development teams to meet the delivery needs across _VOIS Service Lines.


What you bring?

  • Deep expertise on Data Warehouse BI data modeling techniques
  • Experience in data modeling tools like Erwin DM or Enterprise Architect (EA) or PowerDesigner
  • Preferably expertise in the design of data solutions for Big Query
  • Expertise in logical and physical data modeling
  • Expertise in building data models for NoSQL databases
  • Expertise in designing data transformation rules for batch and data streaming processing
