Software Engineering Manager (.NET, C#)

Location: London Southwark & *Blended

Salary: £ Competitive Salary + Bonus +  Benefits 
Hours:   Mon-Fri 37.5

What will you be doing? 


Vodafone are currently in the process of decommissioning our legacy systems and using micro services architecture to create our own home -grown systems!


  • You will lead, mentor and inspire team members to reach their individual potential, whilst supporting department objectives
  • You will influence the direction of services, technical standards and guidelines at team and department level
  • You will generate and implement technical process improvements
  • You will hold team members accountable within their roles and empower them within your team
  • You will improve engineering quality and efficiency within my team and department (e.g. encourage pairing, code review, etc.)

What are we looking for?


  • Deep knowledge of C# and .NET Core.
  • Exposure to other programming languages (for example Java or Python).
  • Agile practices and development through BDD/TDD, using associated tools for testing and continuous integration & deployment. 
  • Design and development of RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
  • Previous team line management experience.
