Senior Manager, Strategy & Transformation - Developer Market Place

We are scaling up a team that will deliver a platform, service and support for us to engage with a new and until now underserved customer group  - the developer.


As one of our first hires, our Senior Manager for Strategy & Transformation will own the strategy, market insight and delivery of Vodafone’s first Developer Marketplace.  You will lead the strategic direction and evolution to create a world class, innovative and stand out experience for the developer community. You’ll oversee the investment and portfolio ROI and oversee all delivery and process design within the new Developer Marketplace team

What will you be doing?
•    Defining and developing the global and local market strategies for the new Developer Marketplace. 
•    Providing market insight on competition landscape and product needs to inform commercial and product portfolio decisions. 
•    Managing the CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Developer Marketplace investment – both strategic and execution. 
•    Process design and interlock with the wider business and wider Marketplace team. 
•    Managing the team to cover execution and insight.


Who are we looking for?
•    Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in digital or tech start up environment in both delivery and strategy in a platform business and economics. 
•    Inspirational leader, passionate about the developer experience, open to new ideas and new ways of doing things; comfortable challenging the status quo; thrives in a rapidly evolving environment
•    Proven experience working in customer centric, lean and agile development processes.
•    Strong awareness and curiosity around digital and technology trends, detailed knowledge and experience of platform and developer business and API economics. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work closely and develop relationships with other teams, including product, technology, sales and marketing as well as executive leadership team.?
•    An analytical and data-driven approach to strategic direction and investment decisioning.
