Job Description

Role purpose: 

As a Senior Base Marketing Analytics Manager, you support your Base Marketing peers across Vodafone with leading and proven methodologies to measure and manage the impact of their marketing activities. 
You provide expertise on the measurement and reporting of AI-driven marketing systems and autonomous base management. You also serve as the primary interface, on behalf of our team, with Data Scientists and MarTech experts when it comes to analytical topics.
This role reports to the Global Head of Base Growth and Retention in the Group Brand and Marketing function.
Experience in defining requirements and managing the delivery of Base Marketing Analytics, experiment design and measurement and AI-driven marketing impact measurement are essential competencies for this role.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Provide thought leadership and define standards for measuring and forecasting the impact of autonomous 
AI-driven marketing activities
Maintain definitions and standards around control group selection, design and impact measurement of experiments in an Always-On environment.
Share selected Base Marketing objectives with your group colleagues and Base Marketing peers in the markets.
Co-design AI-driven marketing simulations and review 
results with Data Scientists and MarTech Experts
Collaborate closely with markets to continuously expand marketing and data permissions and to advise on GDPR compliance
Provide hands-on support and participate in market Agile squads when required.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

Expert knowledge of Marketing Analytics techniques used in AI-driven marketing
Well-versed in designing and implementing measurements to manage and optimise AI-driven marketing performance
Highly analytical with a passion and deep understanding of AI and the latest analytical techniques used in Base Marketing
Prior experience collaborating with Data Scientists and MarTech to maximise AI-driven marketing performance
Working experience in an Agile organisation delivering Data and AI assets

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Educated at a university level, ideally in a relevant discipline
Further marketing and project management certifications and qualifications will be considered a plus
