We are scaling up a team that will deliver a platform, service and support for us to engage with a new and until now underserved customer group  - the developer.


As one of our first hires, our Senior Manager for Business Development Manager of the Developer Portfolio will lead the growth of the Developer Market place product catalogues and partnerships to ensure that Vodafone becomes a world class destination for developers and partners. You’ll provide account management for the partners that provide product and the platforms in which we onward sell within the ecosystem.  
 

What will you be doing?
•    Act as the leading internal and external evangelist for the Developer Program and  Marketplace. 
•    Sourcing and executing strategic partnerships for global and local market strategies for the new Developer Marketplace. 
•    Managing an internal pipeline to engage internal product, technical and commercial teams to influence product direction and strategic development toward the developer community and product catalogue. 
•    Leading and executing commercial and contractual negotiations navigating internal processes and legal stakeholders. 
•    Account managing the partners and platform relationships to develop strategic partnerships and grow the opportunity with the accounts. 
•    Providing market feedback and narrative to inform commercial and product decisions and operational management.
•    Working with the wider management team to create a world class program and delivery of success KPIs.
•    Managing a team of Global Business Development Managers.


Who are we looking for?
•    Sales leadership experience in, and selling to, tech, platform business and experience in API economics and sales. 
•    Entrepreneurial mindset and experience in digital or tech start up environment. 
•    Inspirational leader, passionate about the developer experience, open to new ideas and new ways of doing things; comfortable challenging the status quo; thrives in a rapidly evolving environment
•    Strong awareness and curiosity around digital and technology trends. 
•    Demonstrated ability to work closely and develop relationships with other teams, including product, technology, sales and marketing as well as executive leadership team
