People Analytics Manager


Location: Remote during COVID and then London

Vodafone is pushing the boundaries of what and how a Telecommunications company in the UK operates and delivers for its customers. As part of this effort, HR are in the middle of a data revolution and are growing their People Analytics Function to drive the HR agenda and help Vodafone become a fully data-driven company. 

 

Is this role for me?
We are looking for an experienced People Analytics professional or someone with a strong interest in becoming one. This role has responsibility for identifying and delivering analytical solutions to solve business problems and drive business outcomes. 
They will help shape our growing people analytics team at Vodafone UK: our mission is to understand the link between business KPIs and our people metrics and help transform HR into a data-driven organisation that breathes and thinks data.

 

What will I be doing?
This is an exciting role that sits between business, HR and analytics, with a great growing potential and that gives the opportunity to have a direct and recognisable impact on Vodafone’s business performance and strategy.
In your new role you will:
•    Be responsible to identify analytics opportunities and own the end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions that have a measurable impact on business KPIs
•    Lead projects that require managing and influencing senior stakeholders within HR and in the rest of the business and interacting with a number of teams from across the company
•    Work on multiple projects at the same time, manage technical and non-technical priorities, coordinate junior resources
•    Show technical excellence and ability to solve complex technical problems with little or no guideance
•    Dive deep into our people and business data: build dashboards, extract insights, develop complex algorithms, use data visualisation and storytelling to engage business audiences

 

Who are we looking for?
•    A proactive individual who can work independently
•    A great communicator, who can explain complex concepts to non-specialist audiences
•    Track-record of delivering results in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
•    Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. Data, Business Analytics, Social Sciences)
•    Experience in data manipulation and programming (e.g. SQL, Python, R) 
•    Experience with visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik)
•    Experience with statistical modelling/machine learning techniques
