Data Enablement Lead
London

 

You will be the subject matter expert in all things data, supporting the delivery of the Global Data & Analytics strategy, migration to Cloud, utilising a common platform & data model (Vodafone’s Common Information Model – CIM) to drive best in class business insight through our visualisation and analytics products.

 

You will own data privacy compliance for D&A and translate policy to technical and data modelling requirements, enhancing the knowledge in the wider team, ensuring alignment to CIM. You will also collaborate with IT & Group Technology, to ensure security of data and manage user access.

 

You will ensure the integrity of our existing Data landscape is fit for purpose & the accuracy and consistency of our data is maintained, whilst leveraging our enhanced capabilities through the migration to cloud. 

You will

  • Data Strategy:
  • Working with the Business and D&A to understand roadmap and align data strategy to meet needs
  • Aligning data requirements to support the Global D&A strategy of migrating to cloud
  • Data Provision:
  • Understand our current data landscape and how it can be leveraged
  • Proactively work with IT to source, analyse and model new data, aligning to CIM (Common Information Model)
  • Define quality standards for new data
  • Data Expertise:
  • Be the subject matter experts in all things data, helping to develop our team and innovating to improve our service
  • Own data privacy compliance and translate policy to technical and data modelling requirements to the wider team
  • Partner with Group Technology, to ensure security of data and manage user access

 

You must have

  • Degree qualified in data related subject
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at a senior level
  • Experience of technical data models, particularly on cloud, and ability to drive technology on design/implementation
  • Extensive experience of BI systems, data governance, privacy and compliance activities
  • In addition, knowledge/experience of emerging Analytics Data Governance
