Job Responsibility

Role:

  • Implement the retail channels strategy by leading a team responsible for planning and executing specific projects affecting the retail channels. Build and implement policies, processes and new capabilities to assure the best retail experience;
  • Develop regionally differentiated strategy approach based on market share and regional customer segmentation and growth targets in line with the company objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for:
    • planning and executing specific projects such as: marketing campaigns, IT capabilities, channel monitoring, people transformation programs and commercial initiatives, impacting the sales channels: direct stores, franchises, partners and mobile channels;
    • developing the regional marketing action plan together with the Regional directors and Regional coordinators;
    • updating the Consumer Sales Director on key business performance measures, highlighting potential issues and making recommendations for actions to resolve;
    • gathering, analysing and presenting data and information relating to specific business issues and cross channel programs as requested by the Sales Director;
    • developing and implements the local concepts, initiatives and propositions;
    • defining and implementing policies, processes and new capabilities to drive performance and assure the best retail experience;
    • reviewing and analysing key proposals and presentations and provide feedback and positioning to the Consumer Sales Director;
    • ensuring projects implementation within allocated budget, tracks and forecasts project expenses and reports upon discrepancies.
  • Prioritizes the channel business transformation projects, based on the importance, urgency, benefits;
  • Engage and build relationship with Consumer Sales Management Team, provide strategic support and business planning where required, including executive off-sites, wide communication events;
  • Proactively issues ideas of new projects in line with the department / channel strategy and objectives;
  • Validates the specific Sales objectives of the projects or monthly budget and monitors implementation in due time of project stages while also maintaining close link with operational teams.  
  • Coordinates activities within the project plans, informs the management about any deviations from the established objectives and makes recommendations to remedy any problems encountered.
  • Act as SPOC for every project or initiative with impact in retail, including transformational projects across Vodafone Romania;

 

Competency/ Functional abilities:

  • University degree
  • Technical competencies: Business correspondence skills, MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Strongly experienced in program and stakeholder management, coordination of high-stake projects and activities
  • Ability to take a holistic view of the business with a sales focus
  • Finance basic skills (P&L / cash flow understanding)
