We are looking for a Transmission (TX) 3rd Level Operations Expert

We are currently seeking a passionate engineer to help us deliver our automated centric infrastructure and bring it to a new standard of services deployment.
As we are working and living in a speed-dominated world, we will like to take an agile approach to transform to new requests (regarding DWDM, SDN…) according to the network needs and perform operation and maintenance activities for DWDM products belong to Huawei & Nokia on the transmission network. Responsible for all Level 3 operations (acceptance, deep troubleshooting, configuration management, SLA/OLA management, automation activities, integration of new technologies, etc) for corresponding products and services.Good experince for fixed customer and also strong relationship with customer as negotiation by technical issues & producing the solution what customer needs.

Key Accountabilities / Key Activities / Decision Areas

To maintain Transmission network 7/24 
To maintain self-built Fiber Optic and Leased Transmission lines with providers
To perform routine maintenance works. To check paths periodically. To take log and keep safe the paths and routes.
To maintain transmission network continuity related to BCM concept

To make Hardware and Software connections between Vodafone transmission equipments as well as other companies
By using ITIL process
To produce solutions that will provide operational efficiency and make design changes in accordance with the interests of the network.

3.Performance Management and SLA
Report low performance lines and systems, take necessary actions
Continually follow up circuit occupancy and network availability& reliability, take measure if necessary,
To find and localize transmission line problems

4.Acceptance Tests 
To perform acceptance tests of Transmission equipments 
To integrate new equipments to transmission network, after acceptances test by thinking dynamics of network; such as alarm, tool….etc adaptation.

5.Technical Support and Troubleshooting 
Provide technical support to the Regional Transmission Operation, Planning Team and Network Operations when required
Investigate and solve the problems of related equipments
Follow up of actions taken for cases in progress

6.Health & Safety 
Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.
Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable

7.Information Security
Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,
Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,
Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,
Protect user accounts and associated passwords , and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.

8.Business Continuity Information Security
Ensure that VFTR  BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans  implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS 25999 -2:2007  Standard 
Ensure that BCM  risks are assessed and mitigated  so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR  Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

We are looking for you if you have

Person Specification / Technical / Non Technical Responsibilities and Professional Expertise  
•BSc degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications/Software Engineering, (Master degree preferred)
•3-5+ years of experience on Transmission Networks(Operation and maintenance of transmission network) & IP/MPLS Networks and/or networking/SDN
 (Nokia DWDM, Huawei DWDM, other DWDM Vendor) 

Basic knowledge of Software Defined Networking Technologies & SDN troubleshooting and analysis tools
•Responsible for all Level 3 operations (acceptance, troubleshooting, configuration management, SLA/OLA management,solving the problem, dipedive analysis, ...setc) for corresponding products and services
•Strong systems programming, design, and development skills & Solid understanding of fundamental network protocols
•Good understanding of the key major vendor’s equipment Nokia & Huawei - Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C++, C#, Objective C, Python, or JavaScript
•Good knowledge of Routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, MPLS-TE, RSVP-TE, L2-VPN, L3 VPN, IPV6), - Cisco CCNA / CCNP certificates preferred
•Good experince for fixed customer and also strong relationship with customer as negotiation by technical issues & producing the solution what customer needs 
•Develop projects that increases network efficiency or reduces opex. 
•With an innovative perspective, to offer new generation products and services to our customers by removing old generation products at the same time taking steps to lower operational costs.
•To ensure the service delivery is meeting the business and operational standards
•To ensure appropriate measurement and reporting of service performance, usage and availability is in place in order to analyze the trends to identify and prioritize improvements
•Provide timely incidents management support, reacting within agreed customer SLAs/KPI’s 
•Manage complex and long running faults on our Global network DWDM/OTN and Ethernet  principles Global platform, Multiservice/Reconfigurable Switching, Optical Switching, Transmission Network Management Systems (Nokia: NMS/OMS Huawei: U2000) and Legacy SDH/PDH Networks
•Ability to work under tight time constraints and meet strict deadlines, without sacrificing any accuracy or detail
•To ensure that VF Turkey Access Network equipment’s works properly 7/24 and to perform integration new network systems.
