In the new generation innovation center one of the focus areas will be developing Network As a Platform (NaaP) technologies that add more value, offer innovative and distinctive industry solutions and services.
We are scaling up our global team and looking for local software developers to launch the movement in Turkey and in all countries of Vodafone. Together we will co-create impactful and inclusive solutions at scale.


ROLE PURPOSE

You will join an international team  that truly values a learning mindset and encourages each team member to make their role their own.  You are going to develop, design, implement, test and maintain new or existing software-based systems.

 

Job Responsibility

Your place in the team

• Develop and deliver Networks as a Platform (NaaP) Software Solutions according to Vodafone Strategy 
• Create standard APIs and network capabilities that have a high degree of re-usability, in close collaboration with NaaP architects and designers.
• Work closely with NaaP Design and Development team to understand NaaP APIs needs and design relevant solutions for those needs
• Participate in Agile projects building the required solutions
• Delivery of high quality code conforming to industry standards and best-practices
• Share learnings across different regions to ensure regional and global coordination
• Understand and translate needs into effective solutions.
• Demonstrates strong customer, quality, cost and delivery focus

We are looking for you if you have

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a SW developer or QA Engineer
• Quality-oriented software engineering in Python 
• Git/GitHub knowledge
• Microservices development with Python and Flask
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Understanding of API design and development
• Understanding on usage and creation of Continuous Delivery and building pipelines
• Knowledge of Virtualization technologies & Containers solutions (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Understanding of modern security practices
• Self-starter, problem solver with the ability to work independently.
• Strong work ethics – with a passion towards achieving high precision and quality of work produced. Reliable time keeping and attendance.
• Experience of working with an agile methodology
• Fluency in English to facilitate communication with colleagues and external partiesGraduate Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience
