We are looking for a Marketplace Category Associate Manager

By owning the whole category responsibilities, main purpose of this role is the customer and revenue growth of the specific category in the marketplace.



Your place in the team


•    Developing and implementing the strategy of the category in line with market needs and trends,
•    Act as the ‘business owner’ for his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business in Vodafone Marketplace
•    Working with the key merchants on expanding selection and adding new merchants to the platform to ensure healthy growth and maximize revenue,
•    Identify new opportunities, develop and execute project plans,
•    Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines,
•    Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet goals,
•    Follows up and realize sales and margin results in line with targets,
•    Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers and searching for new resources for new products.

We are looking for you if you have

•    University degree 
•    Significant experience in a similar position in marketplace industry
•    Prior experience in e-commerce preferred,
•    Sales and purchasing experience is an asset,
•    Min 3 years of experience in similar position (sector knowledge is an asset)
•    Fluent English
•    Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive results
•    Ability to think strategically and tactically, with excellent attention to detail
•    Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
•    Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential
