Role Purpose

 

•    To provide timely, efficient, cost effective, competent, innovative, sufficient, proactive, responsive and specialized legal support that takes initiative in order Vodafone Digital & Financial Group Companies and any other new businesses to achieve their goals in their business area, and to minimize relevant legal risks while supporting the development and implementation of their strategies and business plans. 

Your place in the team

 

•    Provide legal support to related departments with respect to marketplace, TV business and digital finance projects in line with the legislation issued by Ministry of Trade, RTUK, BDDK, TCMB and other related bodies decisions to determine and manage the legal risks in projects ,
•    To organize and manage the legal processes that include the preparation, examination of any kind of local and/or global contracts, and any legal documentation etc. with respect to related functions as well as offering legal opinion and risks analysis, and ensuring that relevant departments receive needed legal support timely and completely, ensuring coordination between the departments, following up and inspecting the same regarding marketplace, TV business and digital financial services,
•    In order to safeguard the interests and rights of the relevant companies, to determine protective terms and conditions in line with the business decisions and legal requirements and minimizing the dispute risk,
•    To provide legal support to all projects, new products & services carried out by the related department, and to build the legal ground of the said projects,
•    Within the scope of the global  marketing projects carried out by Vodafone Turkey together with Vodafone Group, to provide legal support to the relevant departments, to ensure that legal documents requested by the Group are prepared and made ready for signing by Vodafone Turkey, and providing legal support to local and global teams in line with the Turkish laws
 

We are looking for you if you have

 

• Graduate from Faculty of Law.
• At least 3 years of experience  as a legal counsel in a law firm or national/international technology, e-commerce or fintech companies,
• A strong understanding of consumer protection legislation, e-commerce and legal aspects of channel management and digital finance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with people under stressful conditions.
• Strong analytical skills and be able to identify trends and weaknesses and to recommend/take measures.
• With volume of work it is essential to be able to multitask, prioritize and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrating trust and ethical behaviour and leading by example at all times.
• Ability to think and perform systematically, to develop effective solutions and making recommendations to minimize risks.
• Understanding and proven capability of working within an environment of rapid operational and cultural change.
• Advanced knowledge and/or ability to understand and apply the relevant legislation, and effective communication skills and ability to encourage compliance.
• Advanced and professional lingual study of and fluency in written and spoken English.
