We are looking for a Data Governance Senior Specialist

•    Manage providing system functionality, dashboards and other reporting deliverables from business requirements and to carry out both functional and account management duties 
•    Enable single version of the truth through the provision of a structured Logical Data Model (LDM) focused on business needs and common data definitions
•    Define Opex and Capex requirements in order to deliver Data Governance roadmap
•    Ensure Data Governance Policy is defined and followed within Vodafone 
•    Follow new technologies and proactively look for opportunities to improve Data Governance platforms and drive through to completion



Your place in the team


•    Engage with stakeholders in order to understand their business processes, imperatives, constraints and priorities 
•    Interpret business requirements and determine optimum BI solutions to meet needs
•    Evaluate and prioritize BI projects based on business needs 
•    Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical data models
•    Transform data into an enterprise information asset that is consistent, comprehensive and current
•    Responsible for business architecture (how the business interface with the technology in a system oriented perspective), data models and structures
•    Responsible for master data management, metadata management, knowledge and information operation model
•    Capex and Opex requirements for Data Governance 
•    Work in collaboration with both business and technology to solve issues related to BI projects
•    To proactively look for opportunities to improve Data Analytics environment and work in collaboration with related departments 
•    Ensure  Data Governance process is implemented at Vodafone TR aligned with group strategy  by acting as the responsible for  “Data Governance Roadmap” 
•    Provide consulting services as needed to assist Data Stewards in the interpretation of data and definition of rules for data
•    Ensure data is secured at protected at  Analytics Platforms according to KVKK/GDPR rules

Job Responsibility

We are looking for you if you have


•    Bachelor Degree in engineering or MIS
•    Demonstrated experience and expertise communicating with stakeholders in management level 
•    Data Management knowledge and experience on Logical Data Models is essential
•    Taking judgement on Data and Analytics investments and recommendation to local leadership team
•    Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
•    Excellent communication skills in English
•    Good Presentation Skills            
•    5+ years’ experience in similar position
•    Project management and analytical thinking skills 
•    Experience with business intelligence reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects)
•    Experience with KVKK/GDPR rules and data governance area
