Cloud & System Operations Senior Expert

In this role, you will primarily focus on administering and supporting the OpenShift Container Platform for our private cloud on premise.

Job Responsibility

Your place in the team

•    Responsible for installing, configuring, implementing the Cloud infrastructure that include Openshift Cloud Platform.
•    Managing and supporting a mixed environment of Openshift Cloud Platform and Vmware ESX platforms. 
•    Performs troubleshooting, incident and error handling for the platforms.
•    Executing change management, fault management, service request processes.
•    Evaluation of new versions, patches, firmware and security patches. Implementing major upgrades and security patches regularly.
•    Implementing security policies and fixing vulnerabilities on platforms according to the best practices and company procedures. 
•    Periodic monitoring of platforms, performance tuning and capacity planning and trend analysis.
•    Provide assistance in new projects during all stages of including: assessment, planning, designing, initiation, implementation of the cloud infrastructure
•    Maintain operational readiness ensuring complete recovery in the event of a disaster. Attend DR tests regularly, update the policies and procedures as required.

Long Description

We are looking for you if you have

•    University degree from a relevant discipline, preferably from engineering
•    Total of +10 years system/cloud administration experince, 3+ years experience working with Openshift Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Serverless and Service Mesh.
•    Must have good knowledge of Cloud, PAAS/IAAS technologies.
•    Must have excellent working experience of Redhat Linux.
•    Must have good knowledge of Storage, SAN, Network 
•    Should have good knowledge of GitOps, Python, ELK, Prometheus, Jenkins, DevOps tools.
•    Experience working in a large, enterprise environment with 10+ of clusters 
•    Must have excellent working experience with problem solving, troubleshooting and analysis
•    Should be a good team player and should be able perform well under stress
•    Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and methodologies,
•    Adaptive, responsive for on-demand changes,
•    Dedicated, working hard to finish tasks on-time with high quality
•    Fluency in English
