ROLE PURPOSE

 

•    Responsible for leading the Business Resilience and Data Privacy Operations Team. 
•    The role is responsible for developing, maintaining and testing the Company's business continuity program. Will support all business plan activities necessary to enable the Organization to manage a crisis event as well as meet compliance requirements for BCP planning. This individual will ensure effective controls are in place and support all activities necessary to enable the Company to respond to a business disruption. 
•    Responsible for implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures of the organization's privacy programs in accordance with KVKK (Personel Data Proteciton Law) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Ensures all business processes and data exchanges adhere the policies and procedures.  
•    Implementation of Enterprise Risk Management Process as per requirements of Risk Management Framework in Vodafone. 

 

 

 

Your place in the team


•    Work with all functional business areas to develop and maintain a corporate wide BCP program that addresses business recovery and emergency response management.
•    Support and assist in the development of BCP planning and goals
•    Facilitate and support the execution of the plans at the time of a crisis event.
•    Develop and execute the maintenance and testing programs for all business plans.
•    Identify and make recommendations for solutions to risks, obstacles and business challenges and report to BCM Steerco and VF Turkey Management. 
•    Responsible for Implementation of Internal privacy processes necessary for GDPR and KVKK compliance, aligned with Vodafone Business Requirements Specifications for GDPR
•    Performing Privacy Impact Assessments for High Risk Activities
•    Providing privacy requirements for new products and services
•    Preparation and delivery of privacy awareness materials and trainings
•    Coordination for Privacy Steerco, Workstreams’ Activities & Projects
•    Providing support to Contracting team related to Security and Privacy clauses of contracts
•    Provide Design Support and perform internal controls for KVKK/GDPR compliant Data Management process 
•    Present and report to Data Privacy Steerco on the risks, mitigations and operational KPIs 
•    Design and lead the implementation of ERM framework throughout VFTR operations.
•    Implement risk identification, quantification, and control effectiveness measurement framework across the organization.
•    Oversee effective risk governance structure, manage policies and procedure approval, and manage committee operations .
•    Support annual risk appetite assessment, design key risk indicators, early warning indicators, and risk response strategies – avoid, reduce, take alternative action, share/insure or accept, across various risk categories and implement risk management monitoring and response practices in collaboration with business unit leadership across the organization. Continuously identify opportunities to enhance and/or strengthen the organization’s ERM program.
•    Support other Risk Management oriented activities as require

 

 


We are looking for you if you have

 

•    Bachelor’s degree required 
•    Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Management / Disaster Recovery / Crisis Management, informations security, privacy and security audit areas preferable within Technology Service area and Telecommunications sector. 
•    Experience on maintaining a privacy compliance programme. 
•    Telecommunications industry experience is an advantage
•    University Degree in Engineering , Computer Science or other related discipline
•    Project / Programme Management skills - demonstrable track record successfully managing projects at the highest technical and tactical levels, coordinating multi-discipline projects
•    Excellent analytical skills and understanding of processes, risks and controls
•    Exceptional risks and issues management, change control 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication
•    Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making with senior management
•    Ability to work with a global team. Energetic, self-starter, flexible, goal-oriented.
•    Having ISO 27001 LA, ISO 22301 LA certifications required  –CISA and CISM or CISSP also essential
