ROLE PURPOSE

    Being leader and accountable of managing BI & BigData Operations teams to keep systems & services up and running uninterruptedly on a 7/24 hour basis  in compliance with the internal procedures (SOX, ISO-27001) and Vodafone Turkey Strategies
    IT ownership & accountability to ensure that necessary actions are taken to prevent occurrence of service usage problems
    Planning collaboration with architects, designers, and working closely with Vodafone Group to be in line with group strategies.

•    Determine the training requirements of the group, defines yearly training plans, and assures that the trainings are performed.
•    Ensures and promotes team spirit with collective method of operation and via social get-togethers.
Operational Accountabilities
•    Ensure  that operation are executed successfully and planned results are obtained based on ITIL processes such as ,
o    Change Management
o    Incident Management
o    Defect Management
o    Fault Management
o    Performance&Capacity Management
o    Problem Management
o    Budget Management (Opex&Capex)
•    Ensure that operational activities are in compliance with ISO 27001 and SOX standards.
•    Ensure that department’s KPIs are fulfilled.
•    Works with Sales, Service Desk , Infrastructure , PDT, SAT, Solution, MSP, Finance , COPS other 3rd parties and vendors to keep systems up and running uninterruptedly on a 7/24 hour basis 
•    Control & Approve the access rights of the production systems
•    Ensure that BCM plans are successfully planned and executed.
•    Review of Incident root Cause documentation
•    To support solution / Enterprise Architecture team to implement/plan Systems/Services
•    To ensure that non-functional requirements of operation team are ready and implemented in projects

Long Description

Planning
•    Preparation of BAU work plan
•    Planning of project efforts
•    Ensure that continuous improvement process in place to prevent occurrence of overcharge&undercharge, service interruption, and wrong reports cases.
•    To ensure that all of the operational tasks and processes are well planned and documented.
•    Ensure that all of the operational tasks and processes are executed in parallel with proper how-to-documentation
•    To ensure that proper blue print and functional diagrams are prepared for systems and products
•    Attendance to Service Review Meetings with MSPs and vendors
•    To coordinate and lead team in crisis situations.
•    To prioritize assigned tasks in accordance to VFTR strategies / targets
Health & Safety
•    Ensure that VF HSE&W procedures are implemented and works carried out in compliance with local HSE regulations.                              
•    Ensure that work associated risks are assessed and reduced so far as is reasonably practicable
Information Security
•    Comply with VFTR’s information security policy, standards and procedures, available under Intranet / Corporate Security Library,             
•    Report all suspected security and/or policy breaches, potential security risks to VF TR Corporate Security,                                  
•    Protect VF TR’s information assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference,                          
•    Protect user accounts and associated passwords, and accept accountability for any actions performed via usage of those accounts.
Business Continuity
•    Ensure that VFTR  BCM policy /standard ,procedures ,plans  implemented and works carried out in compliance with   BS 25999 -2:2007  Standard 
•    Ensure that BCM  risks are assessed and mitigated  so far as is reasonably practicable in VFTR  Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) 
•    Ensure VTR BCMS by planning, establishing, embedding, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving within VFTR

Technical / Professional Expertise
•    Strong team management experience in telecommunication IT operations
•    Knowledge of SOX , ISO27001 and TTK processes/audits
•    Strong understanding of ITIL based operation process
•    Strong understanding of below concepts
o    DWH&BI
o    Mobile&Fixed Reporting
o    ETL & ODI & BO Knowledge
o    Personal Data Regulations & Masking Technologies
o    BigData & Data Mining&Engineering (New Role)
o    S15&S18 (New Role)

•    Knowledge of revenue & service assurance processes
•    Strong understanding of SDLC.
•    Good command of English
