Long Description

Role purpose:
• To sell the Vodafone Cell Site Monitoring Solution (CSM) to Mobile Network Operators (MNO) in the Americas, i.e. identify, select, conduct a Proof-of-Value and close agreements
• To negotiate the commercial model with the MNO
• To have oversight and insight to the successful delivery of the service, in conjunction with the assigned project managers, to ensure meeting of the commercial milestones
• To grow revenues with the MNO, whilst securing appropriate margin and increasing engagement with Vodafone

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Develop the Go-To-Market strategy for CSM in the Americas
• Sell the Vodafone IoT CSM value proposition to selected MNOs, incl. opportunity management
• Produce Business Cases and develop Commercial models for CSM
• Support the implementation of Commercial and Operating Models and ensure subsequent revenue growth
• Lead the internal stakeholder management across Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Product Management, Service & Support, Regulatory and Partner Markets and be a central point of contact internally and externally with MNOs
• Proactively support growth through cross-& upselling

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Strong history of successful sales of complex solutions (hardware, software, services) to telecommunication operators, e.g. in wholesale or carrier sales
• Strong analytical skills and financial modelling abilities
• Contract negotiations of high-value deals with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to balance conflicting interests

Must-have technical / professional qualifications:
• BA / BSc degree or MBA / MSc
• Comfortable in corporate / multinational B2B business including networking, influencing and persuading internal and external teams and stakeholders
• Experience of presenting and negotiating at C level and with 3rd parties
• Strong English negotiation skills, local language skills preferred
• A self-starter with determination to succeed, balanced with the appropriate tact and diplomacy needed to operate in a challenging cultural environment
