- Real time company Fleet Management
- Fixed Asset Management e.g. Soft Drinks and Ice cream Cabinets

Role purpose:

The jobholder will provide support to IoT infrastructure holding System, Database administration & Developer role. Ensuring smooth operation and uninterrupted availability of provided services and functionalities, contributing to services availability and customer experience through proactive and reactive maintenance of systems and databases’ under team’s scope. Propose and implement system modernization and consolidation projects to contribute to efficient operating model and by minimize infrastructure’s operational cost.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

•    Participate on Database tuning and PL/SQL Development activities contributing on overall Sprint Delivery
•    Deliver requested services in the predefined SLA. Take initiatives to simplify processes and reduce delivery times. For system access requests, validate any possible security risks 
•    Be responsible for the protection of the system for possible vulnerabilities, theft or damages to the hardware and software. Be compliant to local regulatory rules and communicate accordingly to ensure database integrity and security
•    Monitor infrastructures’ capacity and performance, produce usage and availability KPI reports for systems, storages and DBs’ under team’s scope
•    Manage Incidents (as 2nd Layer support), that affect systems and DB Services. Provide Consultation to Service desk, issue trouble report and follow up resolution

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

•    University degree in computer science, communication engineering, electronic engineering or very closely related science/engineering
•    Three (3) years of relevant experience in telecommunications or Computer Systems as UNIX or DB administrator
•    Working experience on Oracle RAC is a must and familiarity with Ms-SQL, MySQL Databases
•    Work experience on PL-SQL
•    Working experience in UNIX Operating Systems (Linux, Solaris, HP-UX etc.) 
•    Knowledge on Storage Area Networks (EMC & Local Storage) 
•    Experienced in Server Installation and Configuration (Storage, BackUp etc.)
•    Knowledge on Virtualisation (Oracle Logical Domains, VMWare, HP-UX Virtual partitions) 
•    Very good knowledge of English Language (oral and written)
•    Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
