Your place in the team
Part of our Digital Tribe, takes place in the agile internal development squad responsible for delivering the new releases for the My Vodafone application, and provide best in class test automation and test support to achieve as perfect good application quality as it is possible. Make the development teams life easier to provide them quality feedback as early as it is possible through automation and through teamwork. Coordinate the planning and execution of test cases within the test team.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Plan and coordinate the test team’s activities within the sprint in close cooperation with the project management, 
•    Participate and contribute to sprint planning
•    Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents
•    Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
•    Create test data requests based on scope to be delivered
•    Organize, maintain and update existing test cases for backend and client tests
•    Execute manual test cases on the delivered My Vodafone clients
•    Create defects with useful and technical details, follow defect lifecycle and lead defect triage meetings
•    Create / enhance the test strategy, continuously seek for new tools and methods to increase velocity
•    Report testing activities including risks and issues
•    Cooperate with parallel projects to achieve project milestones
•    Create and maintain defect lists on project boards
•    Gain domain expertise
•    Deep understanding of product features and functions
•    Gain technical and architectural knowledge of My Vodafone application and how it interacts with external components in end to end scenarios
•    Close cooperation with developers during designing and executing the test scripts
•    Participate and coordinate in sanity testing of occasional nightly production releases
•    Proactively cooperate with the Product owner during defect prioritization, keeping the customer experience in focus

We are looking for you if you have
•    3+ years’ experience in technical software quality engineering, preferably in test manager or test coordinator role
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Ability to create efficient and information rich reports
•    Knowledge of JIRA or other issue tracking software 
•    Precise and proactive planner
•    Good communication skills, understanding business and technical experts as well
•    Experience with manual UI based testing
•    Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and other team members in an agile environment
