Role Purpose:

The Credit Analyst Manager role is to overview credit risk strategies in conjunction with Credit Manager and is responsible for key Credit Risk and Credit Management reporting.
 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Recommend changes to the credit scoring polices for customer profiles in conjunction with Credit Risk Manager, Business, Fraud and D&A team whilst delivering a positive customer experience
  • Utilise customer data to shape risk segmentation and mitigation policies
  • Profiling customers in the debt cycle using Data Analysis and Data Mining techniques, to understand the debt and risks
  • Proactively identify credit risk issues and coordinate resolution management
  • Perform detailed quantitative and qualitative credit analysis of new and existing Vodafone customers and deliver recommendations and assessment of credit risk
  • Assessment of credit risk for all products and services, executing governance and controls.
  • Performance management reporting on key credit risk policies, strategies and scorecards and KPIs
  • Ensuring credit risk strategies are effective to minimise bad debt provisions, bad debt write off and customer churn
  • Identify process gaps/tool enhancements and partner with key stakeholders to implement a scalable, stable and secure solution
  • Instil culture of continuous improvement across all credit risk practices
  • Reporting regularly Head of Credit Management, CFO and Financial management and business on scorecard and credit risk performance
  • Implement regular governance meetings with key stakeholders to evaluate performance of credit risk strategies, providing insights and propose recommendations
  • Monitoring, audit and review of third-party performance
  • Process Accounts Receivable month end close 
  • Documentation of all credit risk strategies and processes
  • Communication and presentation of all Credit Risk and Credit Management KPIs and creation of reporting packs for all stakeholders within the business
  • Analysing, monitoring and reporting on Credit Risk and Credit Management performance to include trending and insights
  • Proactively calling out deviation from performance whilst providing recommendation for performance improvements
  • Provide forecasts and implement cash targets with Head of Credit Management providing full historical performance, trends and insights
  • Regular governance meetings with key stakeholders in Finance & Segment to ensure strategies, targets and forecasted numbers are aligned
  • Advancement of reporting to include dashboards and report automation
  • Identify process gaps or tool enhancements, input into business cases to progress Credit Management reporting
  • Documentation of all reporting processes

We are looking for you if you have:

Essential:

  • 3-5 years within similar role within multinational environment
  • Finance degree, Accountancy qualifications or Credit Risk qualifications
  • Excellent analytical skill, with coding experience and a good understanding of data
  • Proven track record of success in utilising a collaborative approach to finding solutions to credit risk problems
  • Ability to critically evaluate and interpret complex information gathered from multiple sources and translate it into tangible business and customer impacts
  • Significant experience of credit management in a mass consumer technology-based service industry
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements including a firm understanding of how to use these to assess credit risk
  • Skilled at presenting at executive committees, leading meetings
  • Advanced excel and data mining skills
  • Experience using SQL, Power BI

 

Desireable:

  • SAP/Power curve experience
