Description

Vodafone Group Technology spans across the entire Vodafone footprint, driving our technology advancements and bringing together the markets into communities to share and gain practice across the group.  As we evolve into a truly digital company, the experience we provide to our customers through our channels becomes ever more important.
Our team works with the markets to monitor and drive improvements to their web and MyVodafone app assets, using a suite of digital marketing tools to provide an enabling framework from which markets can monitor their customer experience and identify areas for improvements. We are now looking for technical people to enhance our team and help us evolve our digital offerings to better serve our customers.
In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the market teams (21 in total) in the delivery of their MyVodafone app and market websites, focussing on the analytics toolsets in our scope - Talium, Adobe, and performance tooling. These toolsets are at the heart of our digital strategy to improve our customers experience with Vodafone globally.
Working with both technical and commercial teams, the Digital Analytics Engineer will;
• Work to define and maintain our technical blueprints and knowledge base around our core product set [Tealium, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Akamai mPulse]
• Act as a technical focal point for the markets, building their knowledge in the capability sets and supporting sharing of that knowledge between the different markets
• Support markets in their deployments and upgrades of the tools we support, guiding and validating their local implementation and ensuring ongoing alignment to the common design blueprint
• Possess good technical problem solving and communication skills to help resolve issues independently or collaboratively with our local IT teams and their suppliers
• Support internal training courses and internal product “pre sales" activities to our technical stakeholders

Accountabilities / competencies;
• Tealium IQ administration skills ideally certified. Managing the dep loyment of centrally maintained Tealium libraries across 21 global markets & nbs p;
• Develop and deploy Javascript custom Tealium extensions using Tealium IQ
• Ability to audit and debug Tealium tagging implementations on single page to large corporate websites
• Ability to audit and debug Tealium tagging implementation on IOS and Android mobile apps
• Good understanding of Adobe Analytics, especially how it integrates via the off the shelf remote commands provided by Tealium
• Adobe Marketing Cloud configuration skills covering especially setup and debugging of AB testing and Experience Targeting activities on mobile apps
• Good understanding of the Adobe Target Server Side APIs for custom Tealium integrations with Target
• Ability to provide Tealium tag plans on app and web
