"Senior Delivery Manager - UNIX Operations Accountable for Server Infrastructure delivery (approximately 23,000 servers) hosted in Multiple Global Datacenter's spread across Europe. Accountable for successfull Transition of identified services from Europe to Shared Service Center and Drive Transformation for Delivery of Efficiency and Cost Optimisation - Year on Year 10% . Lead a team of 50+ Resources, comprises of Senior Delivery Managers, Solution Architects , Technical Experts etc - Ensuring agreed SLA's met / exceeded Accountable to embrace the opportunity to drive solutions to overcome issues or make progress; speaks passionately about how they will result into Success to meet the Larger Business Objectives ( Big Picture) Expertise in handling diverse stake-holders - comprises of Local Markets Technology Head, Global Business Heads, Shared ServicesSenior Leadership Team to ensure delivery of Server Operations Accountable forensuring Quality of Service at Speed of Business Thorough understanding of thetechnologies beyond Server Infrastructure to ensure seamless interface for meeting the Infrastructure availability for the Business . Technologies like Storage, Networks , Applications & their inter-dependency in complex DC environment Accountable to meet / exceed the CSAT, PSAT Targets Accountable to Drive projects related to the Business and Technology change - Drive effectiveness through various quality tools and present to the Service Management Team - Developing Team's Technical Competency - to take care of the new and future requirement- Drive CI, SIP, SOX compliance and ensure successful quality audits - Responsible for resource planning, budget and controls for Server Operations Delivery"

Description
The Infrastructure Operations Manager provides expert knowledge to deliver the operation and management of central and/or local data centres, legacy and/or centralized infrastructure, standards and requirements to support the availability of Vodafone IT applications and Data Centre activities and database environments. The Infrastructure Operations Manager focusses upon the supervision of a team, who ensure availability and effective functioning of internal network infrastructure, data availability and technical support for customers (internal and external). Including monitoring of hardware and software in datacentres, and executing event/incident, configuration, escalation, release, deployment and 3rd party database management activities. Typically reports to the Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities
* Assists with and advises on the future customer demands / trends, giving direction for improvements on Vodafone Infrastructure Management practices and procedures to support the achievement of the Technology strategy;
* Drives and maintains the delivery of Vodafone Infrastructure Management requirements and initiatives through the identification of business requirements and IT database needs, including coordination of security, maintenance and utilisation;
* Has full people supervisory responsibility for a team of Infrastructure Operations professionals who perform regular system reviews and pro-active performance and resilience improvements in order to provide best customer experience;
* Maintains solid relations with internal and external partners;
* Demonstrates solid communication skills, managing vendors of assigned systems Reviews vendor incidents regularly and organises vendor meetings to ensure that all incidents are solved according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
* Uses best practice knowledge to keep the consistency in infrastructure compliance with Vodafone Group standards;
* Understands the theories and practices across the service performance spectrum, leading refresh and/or decommission of programmes that improve service availability effectiveness;
* Understands IT/Network infrastructure challenges across firewalls, file transfer protocols, proxy servers, data centres, cloud, virtualisation, storage and backup areas;
