Location: Düsseldorf, Germany or London, UK

As part of the Home technology function, there are two key products this role focuses on:
• Gigahub – An initiative to simplify and deliver a superior experience for our home/fix users by delivering a new range of in-house developed CPEs and a home connected application.
• Super WiFi – Improving the WiFi connectivity at home through a distributed extenders setup and optimisation software components.


Role purpose:
• Definition, leadership and drive implementation of the Agile transformation across the Home Connectivity teams. Motivating and energizing the organization through employment of Agile techniques and the transformation into the new Vodafone Operating Product Model.
• Act as the Scrum Master and ensure the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use.
• Design, implement and adopt a strategy for the different teams and departments to continuously improve their use of Agile principles and practices to deliver better outcomes.
• Leverage an Agile/Lean mind-set and Agile coaching expertise to drive the evolution of agile delivery in the Home Connectivity function.

Job Responsibility


With us you will:
- Leading the team and organisation on how to use agile practices and values to form a high performing team and deliver a wow experience to our customers.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised, without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and problem solving.
- Coaching the Product Owner, especially with respect to refinement and maintaining the product backlog.
- Define and execute agile adoption and performance metrics. Lead for the Tribe/Squads in setting and defining Agile transformation KPIs/metrics and its achievement to maximise business value creation while reducing operational/ organisational complexity; Act as an OKR Master/Trainer supporting teams and managers during OKR implementation and process time
- Act as an Agile Coach. Mentor and coach all levels of the organization on agile principles, practices, roles, artefacts and ceremonies to maintain consistency of adoption and continuously improve performance; Help teams inspect, adapt, deliver and mature in their Agile way of working; Serve as a change agent and thought leader; Embrace, model, and foster a culture of learning; Identify and remove impediments that prevent teams from doing their job
- Be an active part of the Scrum Master community within Vodafone, input in continuous improvement within this discipline and implement results in the Tribe.

 


Apply if you have:
• Natural “servant” leader, with the ability to develop and communicate the objectives, inspire and motivate the team, and maintain alignment with the business outcome vision
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master
with a successful track record of helping teams grow
• Strong time-management skills and being comfortable working under pressure
• Self-motivated individual with excellent organisational, presentation and analytical skills
• Comprehensive experience working with multiple agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and with scaled agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, Spotify)
 Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• Strong experience in agile ways of working, such as Scrum, Kanban
• Minimum 5 years of experience and track records
• Business fluent in English, German language understanding preferred as well
