Role Title: Sales Manager Regional Sales

Location: Home Office, Germany

With us you will:

  • Ensure delivery of all local and global financial sales targets of sales team including revenue, connections for voice and data,  market share and net margin contribution while keeping operational expenses of team to budgeted levels
  • As Vertical Lead drive the verticalisation of the sales team internally and externally
  • Personally be involved to win and retain large and/or complex accounts and to develop and maintain strategic relationships nationally and globally
  • Engage in creating new revenue streams from new products, via partnerships and by selling through accounts (b2b2c/b2b2b)
  • Utilize internal network to support account managers and to ensure effective problem resolution and process alignment
  • Guarantee team compliance with sales methods and tools (particularly SFDC) to ensure alignment with other functions
  • Continuously coach all team members and ensure that appropriate additional training is provided, completed and applied in daily business operations 
  • Drive good team spirit in Sales Team
  • Provide necessary management reportings on all KPI

Apply if you have:

  • 6 yrs+ experience in Key Account Management and Solutions Sales
  • 3 yrs+ experience in people management/leadership in a sales environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of important financial concepts, the IT&T environments, purchasing practices and industry specific aspects of corporate customers
  • International experience– lived and worked abroad or worked in a global account management role for a longer period of time
  • Good understanding of certain industries to support none-core solution selling
  • Knowhow of Telecommunications / IT Industry
  • Good know-how of selling Global IP-VPN, Cloud & Hosting Services, IOT & additional Services
  • Excellent Leadership Skills: Able to manage a team to reach sales targets while keeping up the motivation and team spirit
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to drive various workstreams in parallel
  • Demonstrated success in networking at all C- Level amongst industry leaders with strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to translate customer’s objectives and strategy into relevant VGE propositions
  • Ability to think strategically and address the global footprint of VGE
  • Ability to deal with a rapidly changing environment and able to lead change where necessary
  • University degree, preferably a Master or equivalent in business management
  • Fluency in German & English
