The Vodafone Cloud and Security organization is a business unit that helps clients realise business value from cloud infrastructure solutions and you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive its growth and shape its future.

The Cloud & Security Senior Sales Manager is responsible for the provision of expert knowledge and influences the direct sales strategy. They hold responsibility for driving direct sales activities through face-to-face, phone, or door-to-door channels, which drive the sales of products and services directly to either consumer or business customers. Focusing on new business and developing existing customer accounts for higher penetration through customer account management. The Direct Sales Principal focusses upon planning and executing activities for high value business dealings and negotiations, signing up contracts and identifying opportunities and strategies to win business from the customers. Typically reports to the Head of Direct Sales.

With us you will:

  • Deliver against annual targets on New Business TCV, driving pipeline across the team that’s at least 4 times targeted TCV growth within account base
  • Deliver Revenue expectations.
  • Ensure that product portfolio, sales promotions and sales communications are relevant for team
  • Involve personally to win new business and retain existing customer business and relationships
  • Ensure Senior Sales Teams are motivated and that accounts and opportunities are allocated to maximize revenue growth


Apply if you have:

  • A very thorough understanding of the C&S business and Public segment and its operation is essential.
  • Operated as a Tier 1 sales manager for Cloud & Security and be able to develop new business opportunities 
  • Performance Management skills
  • Be able to demonstrate having worked successfully to strict new business KPIs and performance measures.
  • Demonstrate an ability to motivate a senior sales team with insight into the customer driven benefits of C&S solutions.
  • Proven record of working successfully at C-Level within MNC and Public Segment
  • English and German language skills highly desirable
  • Passion for Cloud and Security and the new business opportunities it offers our customers
