Location: Homebased, Germany

Role purpose:
The Customer Solution Authority’s (CSA) primary role is the dedicated Design Authority within the Grohe account.  As such, the role will be responsible for working with sales and directly with the customer in order to design, cost, and document the solutions to be offered to customer. Additionally, they are accountable for the technical relationship with the customer and the associated contractual aspects.

The CSA will establish and maintain an excellent understanding of the customer’s business and technology needs. Additionally, they will have a detailed understanding of the products and services that exist within the Vodafone Portfolios.

The CSA will respond to requests for new technology or technology-derived solutions from the customer, but will also be accountable for pro-actively creating new opportunities to deploy VGE solutions within the customer’s environment.

The CSA will have full accountability for the solutions that Vodafone provides to the customer. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the solutions are high quality, commercially viable and have been approved by the customer and all internal stakeholders. The role holder may lead a small virtual design team, and act as end-end solution authority across multi-portfolio solutions.  The CSA is responsible for creating the relevant documentation to established standards and agreeing such with the customer.

The CSA will work closely with other members of Vodafone, as part of a virtual team. The Virtual Team will comprise a range of disciplines i.e. The Account Team, Commercial, Operations, Product, Programmes & Projects and Service and will ensure that the end-end solution deployed is fit for purpose and can be readily deployed and operated by Vodafone in a profitable manner.

This role is based regionally and will deal predominantly with opportunities where the customer decision makers are based in the region. The nature of Vodafone Global Enterprise customers means some travel is to be expected in this customer-facing role. The customers this role will be dealing with are large multinationals and many designs will be multi-country in nature.

With us you will:
• Build a “trusted advisor” relationship within the aligned account(s), and act as the “end-end” Solution Authority for all deployed Vodafone solutions within the account(s)
• Capture and interpret customer requirements, and design complex and custom solutions to meet customer requirements. Identify and document any risks to the solution
• Build accurate scalable cost models and provide input into pricing strategy
• Document solution in RFP responses, proposals and Statement of Works/High Level Designs.
• Ensure solutions are deliverable in timeframes committed and have passed all appropriate VGE solution governance.  Solutions should be scalable, repeatable, and utilizing existing standard services as much as possible.

Apply if you have:
• Relevant higher education in a related field or equivalent experience
• Must have core expertise in designing complex solutions in one or more of the following areas:
• IP Networking (WAN & SDWAN)
• Cisco LAN Deisgn
• Unified Comms including IPT, Contact Centres, IM, Email and Video Conferencing
• Security solutions
• Mobility and Mobile Data Services
• Experience with IT Managed Services desired, preferably with ITIL, eTOM or TOGAF experience
• 5+ years’ experience in dealing with large corporate customers in a solution design or consultancy role – ideally with experience of acting as end-end customer solution authority
• International experience desirable (working internationally and/or working with global solutions)Ability to present to internal stakeholders and up to C-level customers
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork with multinational teams.
