Role purpose: 
•Providing Global IT support for Vodafone Enterprise & Web Applications for all branches of Vodafone Companies around the world.
•Supports Enterprise Web Applications include OneITSM, Central Monitoring Platform, MyVodafone and Digital Experience Layer


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
•Maintaining the availability of the applications and their hosted servers (OnPrem or AWS Cloud)
•Managing all system components including Apache, AWS hosted Containers.
•Troubleshooting & facilitating the Infrastructure and connectivity issues between different service application tiers
•Participating on the application deployments (where available)
•Providing technical and functional support to the local web administrators for adding or modifying the web contents. Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
•AWS, Linux/UNIX solid experience
•Oracle Database background
•Containers knowledge
•Apache experience
•Shell scripting (Bash, python)
•Software or Web development skills are plus.
•HP (Microfocus) Operations Bridge Knowledge is a plus
•BMC Remedy Knowledge is a plus.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
•Bachelor of computer science / engineering  
•4-8 years IT Support, system administration, web/software development experience
•Strong Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
•Strong Conversational English skill both oral and written
•Very good analytical thinking skills
•Handling multi-tasks
•RHCE or AWS certification is a plus
•ITIL Or Agile Certified

Key performance indicators:
•Ensure that the technical solution and root cause are clear and logic
•Prioritizing and managing several open cases at one time based on agreed Service Levels.
•Ensure that all incidents are solved within the agreed SLA
•Update the technical documentation and the team knowledge base.
