for our Finance Department

Your place in the team
The Procurement Business Partner will be assigned to internal stakeholder groups and VPC (Vodafone Procurement Company) Category Managers and will be responsible for building strong relationships across a number of internal functions and be the ambassador of Procurement creating credibility and driving commercial savings throughout the Supply Chain.


You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Interactions with stakeholders across the business to build strong and credible relationships in order to maximize overall delivery. 
•    Use BI tools (Iview, Celonis, etc.) to identify opportunities, with ability to leverage the global sourcing function at the Vodafone Procurement Company (VPC). Utilising Design to Cost methodology to support sourcing and to ensure maximum value is achieved through our key contracts.  
•    Uses judgement based on analysis of demand management and is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience. 
•    Understands the Business Partner context within Procurement and the impact of its performance on all other teams within the local market, by driving and tracking KPIs. (saving, CMS and operational KPIs)
•    Supports overall governance of demand management, to ensure the quality of end to end demand management process for the local market.  
•    Helps to define best practices. 

We are looking for you if you have
•    Professional background in purchasing with cross cultural/cross functional experience, preferably 3+ years 
•    Experience of end-to-end Procurement and preferably knowledge of mobile communications industry (or other relevant industry) 
•    Understands the business and Procurement strategies and uses them to contribute to Vodafone goals and objectives 
•    Commercial thinker with influencing abilities, experienced in operative positions  
•    A self-starter who is results-driven with high levels of self-motivation, mobility, reliability and initiative 
•    Embraces and drives the change agenda and does not shy away from challenging situations 
•    Ability to adapt and comfortable to work in a changing environment 
•    Understands organisational structure and systems, and the impact of decisions
•    Excellent interpersonal skills
•    Excellent negotiation skills (face to face, email, telephone)
•    Ability to professionally interact with a diverse project team, managers, VF group 
•    Capable of resolving conflicts, good influencing skills
•    Good analytical and strategic skills and focus
•    Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills
•    Proactive, can work individually but very good team player
•    Fluent English
