Supplier Management Specialist - Maternity cover



Your role in a nutshell: 
This role is to manage complex supplier queries to enable timely payment of supplier invoices. Support commercial activities by being single point of contact (SPOC) for any kind of operational issues. Act as a consultant to Supplier Account Manager in shaping the processes in line with the agreed policy framework. Monitor the performance of the suppliers to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics. Analyse root causes, provide end-to-end process documentation and drive continuous process improvement projects to prevent issues from recurring. Build and manage relationship with all partners involved in the business.

•    Handle incoming complex supplier/internal queries, take ownership of end-to-end issue resolution
•    Work collaboratively with all departments to enable timely payment of vendor invoices
•    Organise regular / ad-hoc conference calls and workshops with suppliers
•    Recognise and report deflection from contractually agreed procedures
•    Prevent queries pro-actively, investigate issues’ root causes focusing on improvement ideas to avoid reoccurrence. 
•    Actively suggest corrective actions
•    Initiate / drive different projects aiming to improve the quality of the internal processes
•    Represent the team during stakeholder visits
•    Reconcile financial statements, complete month-end accruals
•    Show sensitivity and customer-focused approach in resolving conflicts
•    Deliver internal / external audit requests and 
•    Update / create process documentation on a regular basis
•    Take lead in testing of new systems, tools and guide the suppliers during implementation
•    Perform regular reporting activities, show trends 
•    Plan work schedule independently in accordance with the business needs


What you will bring to the team:
•    1-2 years of experience in Finance and/or  Supply Chain area 
•    Fluency in English (written and verbal)
•    Advanced MS Office knowledge
•    Excellent Problem solving skills
•    Solution-oriented focus
•    Ability to self-manage
•    Experience in project management
•    Experience at a multinational company or SSC is an advantage
