Your role in a nutshell: 
To ensure the achievement of strategic business objectives set for the unit by elaborating implementation methods and coordinating the work of the unit, under the direction of a local manager. Support the development of Group Strategy for Vodafone Business. To drive work streams within strategy projects, drive work streams and take end-to-end responsibility for strategic topics.

•    Acts as a role model and being responsible for strengthening control environment framework by monitoring the fulfilment of compliance requirements.
•    Manage and deliver assigned work within Vodafone Business strategy engagements, support the annual strategy review process, and develop fact-based insights and analyses on topics including connectivity, 5G, IoT, cloud, and security services, etc.
•    Develop strategic insights and recommendations for the Vodafone Business SLT and Operating Companies across all Lines of Business. Conduct market, technology, competitor and product research on topics relevant for the Business strategy.
•    Contribute to the annual commercial guidance and strategy review processes in close collaboration with Group Strategy and Commercial functions
•    Contribute to development of thought leadership on selected topics of strategic relevance for Vodafone Business 
•    Translates strategic goals into relevant processes; makes sure that relevant processes and documentation are followed by setting controls and targets; in charge of stakeholder management and escalation point.


What you will bring to the team:
•    8+ years’ experience ideally within the IT, telecoms and/or high-tech space, and across a variety of business areas and strategic situations (preferably 5+ in strategy development)
•    Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills, integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgment and decision-making skills
•    High fluency in English (spoken and written). Excellent communications skills in written and oral formats, from operational to C-level
•    Knowledge of information and communication technology
•    Leadership skills, previous experience in coordinating/managing people
•    Masters degree or equivalent 
•    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to scope, structure, and solve strategic problems 
•    Strong influencing and communication skills. Resilient to dynamic environments and stakeholders. Proven ability to influence at senior levels and disciplines within a large company, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
•    Strong planning skills with the ability to organise and manage own work streams end-to-end, from fact-finding and analyses to communication and stakeholder management.
•    Highly numerate and excellent at leveraging facts and insights to generate and validate strategic hypotheses
•    Project management skills
