Senior IFRS16 Expert
for our Finance Department

Your place in the team
•    End to end ownership over running the stablishment and operation of IFRS16 compliance purposes (more than 20Bn HUFs contracts in scope yearly) 
•    Leading several related efficiency and improvement projects acting as a project manager
•    Substitute of Chief Accountant (F band)

 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Establishment and continuous operation and monitoring of internal IFRS16 processes
•    Indirectly leading a team of 4-5 people in VOIS teams, being responsible for their work
•    Strong cooperation with Technology department and other Finance Teams 
•    Drive the related budgeting process (20Bn + HUF yearly costs)
•    Evaluation of all vendor contracts that VF enters from IFRS16 point of view
•    Establishment of proper information flow between departments for in scope contracts
•    Guaranteeing that all in scope contracts are complete and accurately inputted to SAP’s relevant internal Volare module 
•    Monitoring intra month related processes and control Shared Service Centre’s work
•    Managing related month end close procedures
•    Control activities over the IFRS16 accuracy: establishing control environment sample based checks and completeness overview
•    Analyses of month end related figures
•    Subject Matter Expert role on IFRS16, deep knowledge on accounting background and technical capabilities
•    In case of any accounting policy changes: impact assessment on the change and implementation of change (including driving processes changes, implementation of new, system setting changes, creating new policies, etc...) 
•    Management of certain Finance KPIs like: unidentified balance sheet reconciliation, EVO to HFM difference, Balance Sheet Reconciliation Quality, FinOps Analytical Tool usage)
•    Ad hoc reporting on certain accounting and finance topics to different stakeholders
•    Responsible for external audits.
•    Responsible for internal audits. 
•    Project lead for all CEE HUB projects related to RTR / GL / IFRS 16
•    Responsible for  CFO projects relevant to RTR
•    Stakeholders: Finance Management Team, CFO, Shared Services and different other teams

We are looking for you if you have
•    Hungarian Qualified accountant
•    IFRS accounting qualification preferred 
•    University / College degree
•    Minimum 5 years relevant experience
•    Working English (in writing and verbally)
•    project management skills
•    strong communication skills
•    SAP knowledge preferred
