Your place in the team
•    Overall responsibility for developing and leveraging government and political relationships in market, and engagement. 
•    Work with Campaigns Lead to integrate government engagement into end-to-end Campaigns. 
•    Responsibility for political intelligence and Vodafone Hungary. 
•    Support Vodafone Hungary’s business objectives through policy and public affairs activities.
•    Ensure consistent representation of company’s desired image and position to all public external constituencies.
•    Support the Head of Public Affairs in daily operation. 

 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Work strongly together with the Head of Public Affairs to execute representation of Vodafone for external stakeholders, especially government and local government sectors’ representatives.
•    Political monitoring and analysis, development of policy position papers, translating campaigns into political messages.
•    Monitor, administrate and follow-up results of Vodafone’s governmental engagement activities.
•    Adapt political narratives, argumentation trees to local circumstances and ‘sell’ to external stakeholders based on a structured and consistent sales approach. 
•    Ensure that Vodafone is represented in the relevant public sector initiated strategic meetings, events and other forums.
•    Build and defend the high-level reputation of the company within the business, social and political environment. 
•    Represent VFHU at external and internal events when applicable.
•    Facilitate External Engagement at expert level for EA and Vodafone Hungary leadership team.
•    Execute political insight through multiple channels.
•    Create and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder map, measuring engagement against KPIs.

We are looking for you if you have
•    Minimum 3 years of working experience working in or with government. Good relationships with stakeholders.
•    Degree in political science, law, economics or similar discipline (advanced degree preferable)
•    Excellent (C1 level) written and spoken English
