Your place in the team
Fully support SME Champion Strategy by providing engaging content for both Vodafone and our customers. 
The Digital Copywriter will write and edit priority SEO web copy for businesses in a variety of industries in a way that is accessible, memorable, and effective for the client and Vodafone. Copy includes on-site copy, social media posts and other marketing and product-related content.


 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Develop a web content strategy for both Vodafone and customers that encompasses the goals of the company and aligns with the company's image
•    Verify facts and write priority informative articles, blogs, website copy, and other marketing and product related content, ensuring all copy meets brand tone and style guidelines. 
•    Verify facts and rewrite/edit priority informative articles, blogs, website copy, and other marketing and product related content, revising all copy to meet brand tone and style guidelines. 
•    Manage content on the local CMS (Content Management System) and keep Vodafone’s digital knowledge base updated to the actual market trends and monitor its effectiveness over time
•    Maintain a content marketing calendar that schedules all aspects of the creation and delivery of content throughout the year
•    Evaluate copy suggestions from proofreader and marketing and make necessary revisions and edits – or thoughtfully and professionally rationalize differing point of view. 
•    Craft headlines, captions, body copy, product descriptions and advertising components relative to web service copywriting.
•    Self-review work against the supplied information, including target audience, products/services/benefits/positioning, media, objective, mandatories, budget, etc.
•    Stay abreast of current best practices in the industry and review competitor websites to compare their activities with ours
•    Being the main point of contact between Vodafone Group and the Hungarian marketing team in terms of content creation
•    Develop a social media content strategy and manage the day-to-day handling of the social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
•    Use target keywords to write search-engine copy that is optimized for search engines (SEO) while remaining entertaining and informative

 

We are looking for you if you have
•    University or College degree
•    At least 3 years relevant experience in the field of creative content writing / social media marketing
•    Experience writing interactive copy for websites
•    Strong proofreading experience; exceptional eye for detail, ability to use standard proofreaders' marks, and excellent knowledge of grammar and style.
•    Ability to consistently write engaging, organized, accurate, and persuasive marketing and advertising copy for a wide variety of different types of businesses and industries
•    Strong concept development skills
•    Expert ability to adjust writing style to mimic client branding and tone
•    Digital knowledge is a must
•    SEO knowledge is an advantage
•    B2B experience is an advantage
•    Self-driven, fast and efficient in problem solving
•    Ability of working under time pressure
•    Result oriented, thirsty for success
•    Logical and structured thinking
•    Ability to work independently
•    Excellent oral/written communication skills in Hungarian and English
