Purchasing Specialist for Apple Operations

 


Your role in a nutshell: 

In this role you will perform professional purchase order processing and support activities in commercial supply chain area for Apple, which is one of the largest suppliers of Vodafone. You will be managing complex supplier queries to enable timely payment of supplier invoices. You will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end transactional and process improvement support in our procurement process to both internal and external stakeholders. You will help your team to identify issues, improvement areas and drive their resolution with project mindset. You will be able to participate in projects that are crucial to the department and have great impact on the processes. 


Why you will love your job:

•    Manages and monitors purchase orders of Apple devices raised in supported local markets 
•    Ensures accurate and timely data flow across systems, within set KPI timeframe to the most important supplier accounts 
•    Processes Purchase Order changes / cancellations 
•    Processes and reconciles goods receipt notifications across systems to ensure timely payment of supplier invoices 
•    Handle incoming complex supplier/internal queries, take ownership of end-to-end issue resolution 
•    Organise regular / ad-hoc conference calls and workshops with suppliers 
•    Actively suggest corrective actions 
•    Prevent queries pro-actively, investigate issues’ root causes focusing on improvement ideas to avoid reoccurrence 

•    Actively participate in process improvement projects to improve our ways of working 

 

What you will bring to the team:
•    Fluency in English
•    2+ years of supply chain / finance experience
•    Advanced Computer skills (Word, advanced Excel and Access, databases)
•    SAP knowledge
•    Analytical skills
•    Problem solving skills
•    Excellent communication skills
