German Speaking Proposal Management Specialist

 

The purpose of the role is to provide a complete library of content available for all standard products and solutions so that the sales teams can independently create proposals to the highest standard in English and German. Collect, maintain and upkeep the critical information and create a consistent look to generate proposals that are industry best in class. Ensure that the Knowledge Centre has a full library of relevant content. Contribute to the preparation of best in class proposals, for all the bids so that they demonstrate customer focus, are well written and formatted. Review and improve the bid documents, critique and grade all proposals, coach and support the bid team to produce well-written proposal documents.
 
What you will do:

 

• Work with content owners, system developers on quality and system improvement projects, provide subject matter expertise on reusable and bespoke content for proposal creation
• Review complex proposals produced by the bid managers from the point of the use of English and German language and ensure that the win theme and customer requirements are articulated clearly and regularly review available content
• Provide mentoring and coaching for all participants of the bidding process throughout the bid lifecycle
• Monitor customers’ questions, feedbacks and needs to align the library accordingly
• Develop and review proposal templates across Vodafone Lines of Businesses to achieve a consistent look and writing style to content and proposals
• Facilitate content reviews with Global Enterprise marketing and legal teams to ensure compliance.
• Track quality KPIs that review the quality of the proposal documents
 
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

 

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Experience in proposal writing and content management with strong copy-writing, proof-reading and publishing skills
• Experience of managing multiple stakeholders at staff or higher level
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written in German and English
• Familiar with SharePoint collaboration methods
• Experience of producing proposal material using PowerPoint, video, Internet (desired)
