 Product Data Specialist


Your role in a nutshell: 
The Product Data Specialist is tasked to elaborate and manage product information- known as digital product definition - using the Vodafone Product Data Model.  As this information is currently not available digitally, the Product Data Specialist is working with a wide range of roles to collect this information from, understands and interprets the information and captures it in the Product Specification database . This information is then managed by the Product Data Specialist throughout the create-manage-destroy data lifecycle. The Product Data Specialist also provides on demand reporting, data extracts to support various project work throughout the business.

Why you will love your job:

•    Creating, maintaining and managing Digital Product Definitions (DPD) based on the latest version of the Vodafone Product Data Model (VPDM).
•    Liaising with Product Managers to ensure the validity of the information stored in the DPDs
•    Performing Data uplift on DPDs when the latest version of VPDM is released
•    Conducting data integrity, compliance and consistency checks on a regular basis
•    Performing on demand reporting based on product data/information
•    Aligning with key data transformation programs leveraging/targeting the product domains
•    Contributing to the VPDM release plans and to the technical roadmap of the PSdb development
•    Creating project and progression roadmap in alignment to stakeholder needs  

What you will bring to the team:

•    At least 3+ years of experience in the Commercial field
•    Solid understanding on complex database concepts and modelling and a basic background with web technologies
•    Strong knowledge in Change Management and Transformation
•    Good understanding of Big Data principles and best practices 
•    Experience with ServiceNow is a huge advantage
•    Excellent organisational skills applied on data & project management
•    Strong negotiation skills and outstanding stakeholder management skills up to C-level
•    Ability to think both strategically and tactically
