Product Catalogue Specialist


Role purpose: 
To extend, populate and govern the component information of products of the Vodafone Product Specification Database, driving standardization across Vodafone.To manage the exploitation of data from the database consistently across work flow processes and systems.To assist with data validation, data manipulation and data migration between Markets, systems and workflows. 

What will you do:


•    Operating across one or more programme representing the Product Database
•    Put in place standard processes and templates to manage change within the database
•    Accountable for the consistency, accuracy and relevance of data from the catalogue, and understanding how it can be utilized or manipulated for use across systems, workflows and processes
•    Set up and manage a library of information on how the catalogue  and taxonomy should be managed
•    Assisting with suggestions and revisions to the Product Database data model and data template
•    Coordination of data gathering and migration for product component information used across programmes
•    In the absence of data, work with required business areas to define the data requirements and manage the collation, validation, recording and redistribution of data
•    Product catalogue data collection & exploitation across markets both as business as usual and as part of agreed programmes
•    Operate and collaborate with strategic programmes requiring integration with product hierarchy and product catalogue data

This position is for you if you have:


•    Advanced English language knowledge is a must
•    3-5 years working experience preferably in multinational environment
•    Project experience
•    Experience in the telecommunication industry is an advantage
•    Confident Excel knowledge (pivot and basic formulas), Power Point
•    Ability to work in a virtual team
•    Strong communication and Influencing skills
•    Strong analytical skills
