Privacy Operations Analyst


Your role in a nutshell:
Working to protect the privacy of more than 500 million Vodafone customers and employees, Vodafone Group Privacy team, a function under Vodafone Group Legal, oversees Vodafone’s global Privacy Programme and ensures its implementation within Vodafone Group. Joining us as a Privacy Operation Analyst, you can be part of our award winning, empowering privacy function, working on cutting edge privacy matters.

You will be expected to maintain process descriptions and other such documentation in your area of responsibilities and to soundly perform fact gathering, analysis of privacy issues and driving privacy compliance controls on a day-to-day basis, as well as to produce, validate and distribute regular reports.

 

What you will love in your role:
•    Supporting our Privacy by Design and Assurance activities across a range of data processing activities, including conducting privacy impact assessments of wide-ranging scope and purpose
•    Privacy demand management, triage and categorisation of requests in a timely manner and action the correct process to the highest of standards
•    Responding to Subject Access Requests and other such requests for Vodafone Group staff in a timely manner
•    Incident Management, in particular support with the initial investigation of privacy incidents and related activities
•    Supporting Supplier Compliance processes
•    Conducting re-assessments of high and medium risk personal data processing activities 
•    Records management and Quality Assurance
•    Supporting regular Policy Compliance Reviews 
•    Supporting with external and internal data protection 
•    Developing and embedding privacy notices, templates, advice, guidance and processes with the objective of improving internal privacy processes 
•    Support the Group Privacy team with any other privacy activities as may be required from time to time

 

What will you bring to the team:
•    1-2+ years’ experience in privacy and or legal
•    Experience in contracts and data protection clauses
•    Good understanding of global privacy landscape in technology and online businesses
•    Knowledge of compliance management standards, tools, methodologies and best practices
•    Excellent organisation skills, able to handle multiple requests with differing priorities and stakeholders
•    Excellent command of English, and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication
•    Experience of OneTrust and Jira would be advantageous
