Master Data Specialist - Device Operations


Role purpose: To play a crucial role in delivering data transactions and support global/ EVO and/ or VPC related projects, taking responsibility of master data process design and implementation. To take a leading activity in improving current master data processes with standardization, determining policies aligned with master data administration principles. Overseeing data quality monitoring to ensure alignment between the different databases used within the process.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:


• Ensures that all master data processes, policies, guidelines are robust, all gaps are filled.
• Ensures that  documentation, competency checks etc are all prepared and are aligned with the global processes and policies.
• Reduces the master data issues, reaching high data quality and smoother business processes. Provides strategy for improving data quality and report.
• Supports all SAP Master Data and MDM related testing activities, defect resolution and any master data relevant project implementation.
• Provides technical and process support to team members and 3rd parties .
• Gathers issues and complaints to identify process improvement needs and process gaps, manages root cause analysis and the deployment of the enhancements.
• Provides support in ongoing and special projects: promotes best practice, provides input into analysis for planning/ design development, contributes to project communication, participates in the implementation of master data initiatives.
• Identifies, reports and acts on potential delays, risks and issues.
• Controls data quality ensuring that internal master data is aligned with the external databases used within the process.


This position is for you if you have:


• SSC experience
• computer skills (Excel)
• programming/ automation experience (desired)
