We are looking for a
Portfolio and Commercial Manager 
for our  Consumer Business Unit

Your place in the team

Responsible for the end-to-end Terminals value chain for selected VF Hungary suppliers by delivering a differentiated terminals portfolio, negotiating best commercial terms and conditions and ensuring the execution of Terminals vendor strategy. End to end management of the terminals accessory business.

You will be involved in the following tasks

  Accessories Business

•    Manages the accessories business at VF Hungary
•    Ensures revenue targets and attachment rate and are reached 
•    Drives new ideas in alignment with Marketing, Sales and Finance to increase revenues and benefits for VF
•    Creates and selects mandatory accessory portfolio 
•    Acts are first point of contact to our accessories supplier to ensure one face approach at VF Terminals towards business partners
•    Driving RFQs to ensure best commercial conditions  are achieved
•    Continuous monitoring of performance and KPIs and taking necessary steps to improve 
•    Continuously seeks opportunities for vendor funded accessory co-promotions (based on inputs from other portfolio and commercial managers)

Handset portfolio Management 

•    Contribute to the quarterly handset portfolio selection process, decides about ranging or delisting of devices. 
•    Responsible for implementing Global Terminal vendor and handset strategies 
Interact with Global Terminals Team to ensure best practices, innovation and differentiation will be transferred to VF Hungary

Handset Promotions

•    Responsible for the execution of co-promo activities with vendors. Is the first point of contact for all Co-promo activities towards internal and external Stakeholders. Delegates co-promo activities to colleagues in case it is not own supplier responsibility. 
•    Ensure that all team members are aware of campaign roadmaps. 
•    Ensures that all handset related go-to-market activities are supported and delivered accordingly.

Commercial Management

•    Is responsible for managing the supplier spend in line with the overall company and terminals strategy.
•    Negotiates best commercial deals with terminals vendors not only during quarterly negotiations also on all special deals. 


•    Responsible for terminals portfolio communication activities. 
•    Responsible for establishing communication material and face-to-face communication to CLT Members, CMU, CBU and EBU.

Value Chain Management

•    Supports the Terminals forecasting process actively by participating in weekly forecasting meetings
•    Participates in weekly operations meetings with Terminals vendors
•    Ensures device availability for all channels by following up delivery schedules and Purchase Order status

We are looking for you if you have

•    University or College degree 
•    Experience in terminals marketing and supply chain
•    Excellent analytical, as well as strategic skills
•    Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills 
•    Ability to operate effectively in a matrix structure and balance global and local requirements
•    Dynamic, motivational and ambitious leader who operates well under pressure
•    Effective at working in a complex, multi-cultural environment
•    Experienced global relationship manager able to communicate and negotiate effectively with global suppliers to achieve Vodafone strategic and commercial objectives
