Your place in the team

Administrate Service Management Tooling operated systems for Vodafone Hungary and take part of the related activities like planning, implementation, operation and maintenance. Ensure smooth operation and integration for the new and existing systems with limitation the unexpected outages. Optionally provide 7/24 On-Call support for every operated system with high technical competence.

You will be involved in the following tasks

 

Topic 1: Project Planning & Delivery
•    Close collaboration with Project Management Office (PMO) in project planning, delivery and handover to operation targeted activities.
•    Life Cycle Management for the operated systems
•    Definition and alignment on the Acceptance Test Strategy for the operated systems
•    Participate in the preparation of high/low level technical proposal(s) and provide expertise into the various areas of solution NW+IT architecture in provisioning/activation/operational area
•    Negotiate functional and technical feasibility of requirements with systems suppliers, developers and/or other third parties
•    Provide estimate regarding quotations, resource needs and feasible delivery dates
•    Compile technical concepts for the fulfillment of the demands

 

Topic 2: Integration & Implementation
•    Main responsible to implement and integrate platforms and services of the new systems, part of the delivery phase (Mandatory to reviewer and approver in case of LLD)
•    Cooperated with local Facility Management and execute physical hardware related maintenance activities
•    Consideration and apply the Vodafone Global Security standards and Hungarian Health and Safety regulations

Topic 3: Operation & Maintenance (O&M)
•    Drive the O&M activities and ensure the smooth operation for the operated Network Management systems (NMS), Element Management Systems (EMS), Fault & Performance Management Systems and IT Service Management Systems or other related systems
•    Responsible in the network related planned/unplanned changes and incident resolution 
•    Provide feedback for developers on corrections/improvements to ensure customer experience
•    Harmonization of BSS and OSS capabilities regarding Mobile&Fix provisioning/activation propositions
•    Engage with the IT and Network teams and provide knowledge transfer, identify skills gap and connect them with technical experts from within the Vodafone group
•    Implement and maintain related service quality measurements (provisioning/activation) in close cooperation with SOC, determine any trends and fall-back in the service and ensure that all required follow-up activities are carried out
•    Deliver maintenance and troubleshooting activities improvement with automation on the operated systems

 

Topic 4: On-Call Support (Based on demand)
•    Provide 7/24h support for the operated systems according to pre-agreed schedule. 
•    Act as a Single Point of contact (SPO) in case of troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for third party contractors.
•    Drive the troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis (RCA) in case of TT handling.

 

Topic 5: Security
•    Drive and implement Vodafone Global Security standards
•    Provide regular reports for Global Security about the operated systems
•    Develop and implement automations for security related activities to reduce to operation time 

 

Topic 6: Business
•    Understand, analyse the business needs and implications of new OSS services and translate them into detailed operational requirements
•    Follow the work of vendors, review and comment all work products and propose preferable solutions if needed
•    Act as a Single Point of Contact Person for his/her systems who assembles IT+NW Architecture and Service Delivery side requirements

We are looking for you if you have

•    Good written and oral communication skills in Hungarian and English
•    Good interpersonal skill, experience of multicultural environment
•    Strong technical / analytical skills and attention to the details
•    3 years hands-on experience in OSS and /or BSS operation 
•    3-5 years working experience in Mobile Telecommunication and / or in IT
•    Hands-on experience from Fix Network and/or Fix Network operation
•    BSc. in Computer/Electrical/Engineering/Telecommunication
•    Strong understanding on future proof operational models and the related key factors like, automation, centralization and virtualization
•    Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, RedHat or other virtualized operating systems (Kubernetes, Docker knowledge is an advantage)
•    Basic understanding on application / service development
•    Hands-on experience on application and/or system integration
•    Strong IPv4/IPv6 knowledge is an advantage
•    Self-motivated and ability to contribute in complex E2E projects
•    Proven customer relation experience is an advantage
•    Proven project planning and delivery experience is an advantage
•    Strong knowledge of low level communication protocols like TCP/IP or STCP
