IP&TRM Operations Team Leader
for our Technology Department

Your place in the team
Provide Operations service for the following areas:
Fix, Mobile and Enterprise IP NW (routing and switching equipment)
Office IP NW (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, XML GWs)
Fix and Mobile country wide Transmission Network (DWDM, MW equipment and Routers)
Ensure smooth operation of the managed and operated services and platforms.

 

You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Manage Hand over procedures to take new development into operations.
•    Approve and activate new core network functionalities, new applications and services, do required configuration in strong cooperation with network development and network deployment teams.
•    Focus on team developments and reorganizations to reach the optimal support of Fix-Mobile converged operations.
•    Adapt the operations teams to the new technology integrations delivered by the development projects.
•    Analyse and resolve customer issues reported by the Customer Care team or Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) team.
•    Incident management and network failure resolution escalated by first line operations or Service Assurance Centre.
•    Raise Change Request if required for operational purposes.
•    Strongly and effectively cooperate with vendor support in incident and problem resolution when required.
•    Support the Management and Service Management with incident details for reporting and administration purpose.
•    Provide preventive maintenance service and raise Problem tickets if required for business continuity.
•    Systems Administration and performance management of all systems under the areas listed in the role purpose above.
•    Assure Business Continuity and participate in Disaster Recovery with coordination of Service Assurance Centre
•    Actively and effectively cooperates with his/her internal (local, regional, global) and external contacts and stakeholders.
•    Control the vendors support activities, measure the SLAs and other operation related contractual obligations.
•    Continuously seek opportunities to develop operational efficiency through process improvement and automation.
•    Develop the organisation and people, facilitate learning and knowledge sharing organisation
•    Ensure that Hungarian Health & Safety regulations and Vodafone Group Standards are met.
•    Keep all company policies and processes
•    Manage a Team of 10-20 Professionals

We are looking for you if you have
•    BSc. in Computer /Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering
•    At least 5 years telecom working experience
•    At least 5-10 years management experience
•    Transformation project experience is key advance (IT, NW)
•    Technical awareness and ability to quickly understand new technologies
•    Highly motivated, autonomous individual with strong methodological background and focus on business needs
•    Strong verbal and written English knowledge
•    Srategic outlook, attention to detail    
•    Excellent analytical and organizational skills, 
•    Assertive personality, good communication skills
•    Able and likes to work in a constantly changing and evolving environment
•    "Can-do" attitude, a sense of optimism, ownership of activities
•    Tendency to learn and pick up new technologies (automation, AI, machine learning, virtualization)
•    Advantage:

o    Any Cisco (CCNP, CCSP, CCIP, CCVP, CCIE) certifications 
o    Linux/Solaris administration experience 
o    Any Experience with any of F5, Checkpoint, Huawei, Fortigate, Nokia equipments
o    Experience with knowledge of IP networks and IP devices.
