Global Account Partner

Your role in a nutshell: 
In this role you will be responsible for systematically landscaping accounts to understand their business goals and needs, working with an assigned Global Account Manager to nurture sales pipeline. To regularly engage with customer’s HQ, decision makers (C-Level), account owner (Global Account Manager) based in a particular country (e.g. Switzerland) , taking sales responsibility for their revenue growth through increased penetration by proactively selling and advising globally and locally together with the Global Account Manager.

•    Deal with the most sensitive top 5-8 customers Headquartered in the lead country
•    Act as a project manager within the account team, set plans, next steps for VGE projects and leads the opportunity-driven account teams
•    Work close together with the Global Account Manager/ commercial team - prepare account plan and execute together with the local account managers/commercial team in line with targets cascaded down from the Regional Sales Leadership
•    Involvement in global/local deals & negotiations
•    Handles complex and/ or non-standard issues, requests on the customer’s footprint (global) 
•    Able to negotiate with senior and C levels of the customer and represent Vodafone as a single point of escalation on a Global level (customer’s footprint)
•    Supports simple new product, services and mobile solutions into account 
•    Prepare quarterly business reviews

What you will bring to the team:
•    Fluency in English – both written and spoken, other additional language knowledge (especially German or French) is an advantage
•    3+ years of working experience in a sales environment
•    Experience working within telecommunications industry is an advantage
•    Experience in direct communication, preferably in the B2B field
•    Leading/mentoring experience within an account team is an advantage
•    Knowledge of a CRM system (Salesforce) would be a plus
•    High-level negotiation skills
•    Self-driven attitude
•    Ambition and power of endurance
•    Good problem solving and communication skills
