Fixed Asset Accountant - Greek speaking

Your role in a nutshell:

To perform assigned accounting and control transaction processing responsibilities in accordance with defined operating procedures. To maintain accounting and financial records and reports, including general ledger, fixed asset, intercompany and accounting records, financial statements, regulatory and management reports.

  • Manage day to day operation related to Asset and General Ledger accounting like Capex spending validation, Accurate reporting and analysis
  • Set up of strong review and sign off mechanism for all the activities handled with in Process
  • Ensure timely and accurate closure of books 
  • Manage GAAP and IFRS reporting requirements
  • 100% compliance with Balance sheet reconciliation within timelines and quality
  • Identify process improvement and Automation opportunity in process
  • Creation and updation of SOPs for all activities
  • Understanding and performance of SOX Controls with no failures
  • Knowledge of upward and downward stream
  • Drive efficiency and effectiveness in the process 
  • Handle statutory and other audits related to the process.
  • Move up the Value Chain and value generation for the service partners
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policy
  • Ensure a ‘customer centric’ and ‘partnership approach’ to develop strong relationships with other working groups


What you will bring to the team:

  • Fluent English and at least intermediate Greek language knowledge
  • Higher education in finance or accounting
  • Computer skills (Word and advanced Excel) 
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Accuracy, attention to detail 
  • Customer focus mindset
  • Accounting knowledge, data gathering and diagnosis ability
  • Independency at work with a self-starter, proactive attitude
  • Experience in a Shared Services environment is an advantage
