We are looking for a

Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager 

for our  Finance Team

Your place in the team

Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager is responsible for the financial and operational reporting of Vodafone Hungary to the internal management and to the Vodafone Group Finance. The manager will have overall responsibility for the reporting process, tools and team needed to submit financial results on a timely and accurate basis. These will be done in line with the requirements of the Vodafone Group, CFO and Head of FP&A.


You will be involved in the following tasks

•    Coordinate FinOps and Decision Support/Controller teams for the month end Group reporting in order to submit the financial and operational results to the Vodafone Group on a timely and accurate basis.
•    Submission of monthly reporting of Vodafone Hungary to the Vodafone Group and ensure that the reports are IFRS compliant.
•    Coordination and submission of Monthly Performance Report to the Region within the deadlines.
•    Lead the preparation of necessary documents to Finance Executives in monthly finance performance calls and business reviews for Hungary 
•    Provide input for the additional reporting activities required at the quarter ends for Vodafone Group’s results announcements and other investor relations activities.
•    Support the development of the month end performance pack ensuring that all key numbers have appropriate analysis with trend data that explains all the key drivers and submit this pack to the CFO and GMT within the deadlines.
•    Follow up the International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) and Vodafone Group Accounting and Reporting Standards (VGIAP) closely in order to ensure that results are fully IFRS compliant and in line with VGIAP.
•    Support the ongoing maintenance and compliance of SOX
•    Provide necessary inputs to the independent auditors.


We are looking for you if you have

•    Good understanding of IFRS accounting and reporting standards
•    Good understanding of management reporting & planning
•    Good financial analysis and analytical skills 
•    Excellent presentation skills 
•    Telecommunications experience +
•    Familiarity with HFM and SAP
•    Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) - specifically the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely, simplify the complex and ambiguous
•    Flexibility & Adaptability - Comfortable working in a very fast-changing and high-pressure environment
•    Strategic Agility - Able to analyze and communicate the “bigger picture”
•    Strong prioritization skills – able to manage customers conflicting requirements to tight deadlines.  Distinguishes between the urgent and the important
