Account Payable Specialist

Your role in a nutshell:

  • Independent execution of complex and very demanding line and special tasks as well as project work in the business processes of the Accounts Payable Other team to ensure efficient and guideline-compliant process flows as well as proper accounting.
  • Perform interface functions between the Finance Operation department, local and global departments, the Vodafone Shared Service Organisation (_VOIS) and external parties involved in the process. 
  • The main focus of the tasks maintaining the SPOC functions in the area of Real Estate incl. ensuring the correct audit, booking and accounting. 

What you will love in your role:

  • Generating of optimisation measures and thus push forward the standardisation work and harmonisation in the real estate environment
  • Responsibility for local projects and global sub-projects as well as optimisation initiatives
  • Responsibility for monitoring and supervising AP Other processes (especially in the real estate environment) using suitable key performance indicators (KPIs) and in close coordination with various departments at VF DE and _VOIS
  • Ensuring the tasks belonging to the area are processed correctly and smoothly
  • Monitoring of training and knowledge transfers, carry them out and complete the corresponding documentation.


What will you bring to the team:

  • A successfully completed academic degree as well as at least 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Interdisciplinary knowledge in the finance, tax and contract management process environment as well as a very good understanding and experience in the area of process management
  • Good knowledge of IFRS 16
  • An independent, self-motivated approach to work as well as a high level of commitment and the ability to deliver excellent work results under high pressure
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English (C1 according to CEFR)
